The Story Behind This Class
Colorado's devastating Marshall Fire hit just miles from my home and we witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking loss so many families endured. On top of losing everything, many didn’t have the documentation they needed for insurance claims, adding stress to an already unimaginable situation.
In an effort to help as many people as possible avoid the same fate, I created a Quick Home Inventory Class, using skills I was already teaching through my photo organization business. Through a simple process, I showed people how to create a record of their belongings using pictures and video and then organize it in the cloud for safekeeping.Â
What began as one class has grown into a series of emergency preparedness classes I now teach online and in the community because with extreme weather on the rise, we are all at risk and would benefit from taking a few simple steps to protect what matters most!
