Wrangle Your Fall Photo Chaos
Have you already taken hundreds of pictures of your kids’ football, volleyball, soccer, band, dance, or other fall activities? Chances are, your photo stream is bursting with pictures and if you don’t do something soon, in just a few months these memories could be buried among thousands of other moments.
The solution? Create an album to organize this season’s photos. It only takes a few clicks to gather all the pictures in one place, making it easy to find and share your favorites quickly.
How to Create an Album for Your Kid's or Grandkid's Fall Photos:
IPHONE/APPLE PHOTOS USERS
Open the Photos app from your phone
Find and open the Albums menu (if you have the latest iOS 26 update, click Collections at the bottom of your screen first, and then find and open your Albums menu)
Click Create in the top right corner
Select New Album
Name your album (ex: 2025 Football)
Click Add Photos
Select the photos you want to add or type in a keyword (ex: football) in the search bar to quickly narrow down the pictures in your photo stream
Click Add
Click Create
Your new album will now show up in your Albums menu where you can quickly find, share, or even add new photos to this collection
ANDROID/GOOGLE PHOTOS USERS
Open the Google Photos app from your phone
Click Collections at the bottom
Find and open the Albums menu
Click + New Album
Name your album (ex: 2025 Football)
Click Select photos to choose the pictures for your album
Select the photos you want to add or type in a keyword (ex: football) in the search bar to quickly narrow down the pictures in your photo stream
Click Add
Exit your album by clicking Albums in the top left corner of your screen
Your new album will now show up in your Albums menu where you can quickly find, share, or even
